Things could not be better for the Tennessee Vols basketball team right now. On Friday night, Rick Barnes and Co. took down Kentucky in convincing fashion, punching their ticket to the Elite Eight for the second consecutive year. A matchup with No. 1 Houston is on the way Sunday afternoon.

While everyone is dreaming of a potential trip to the Final Four, Barnes and his staff haven't forgotten about getting some work done in the transfer portal. Come Monday, the day after we find out if the Vols will be Final Four-bound or not, sharpshooter Isaac McKneely will be in town for a visit. This is pretty big news for Tennessee, as the Virginia transfer is one of the top targets for a lot of teams:

With Chaz Lanier, Zakai Zeigler and others playing their last set of games (hopefully three more) with the Vols, some experience and top-tier talent is needed via the portal. That's where someone like McKneely could come in.

This past season for UVA, the 6-4, 190-pounder averaged more than 14 points per game. According to 247's Travis Branham, Louisville was on the verge of landing a commitment from McKneely, but Barnes and Tennessee came calling and have managed to get him to Knoxville to meet with the staff.

From our chair, it sure looks like Tennessee has a bit of catching up to do, but everyone knows the difference a trip to Knoxville can make for a prospect. There aren't many, if any, better college towns in the country. With Tennessee pushing for a trip to the Final Four too, this is something McKneely surely must be keeping in mind.

Soon enough, we'll find out where the shooting guard will be headed. He's ranked the No. 2 SG in the portal and No. 8 player overall. It'd be a massive get for Tennessee, but Louisville won't go down without a fight either.
