Tennessee football revealed its SEC schedule for the next four seasons on Tuesday night, with a significant focus on the Vols' 2026 schedule, which features five home games and four away games in conference play.
Every year, Tennessee will flip its home and road games, although the opponents will change as the SEC aims for each team to face each other over the next few years.
In 2026, the Vols are set to host Alabama, Auburn, Kentucky, LSU, and Texas in the confines of Neyland Stadium next year. They will go on the road to play Arkansas, South Carolina, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.
The future looks fun.

At least six of those opponents could be ranked by the time they meet the Vols next season, and each year the Vols will likely meet at least four to five ranked opponents, making for a challenging schedule every year.
Every SEC team across the conference will have a challenging schedule moving forward. This isn't the Big Ten, where a ninth game is Purdue or Northwestern; nor is it the ACC, where a ninth game would be Virginia Tech or Cal.
SEC teams will be lucky to have one or two down programs on their schedule any given year. As for the Vols, the only team trending down on its 2026 & 2028 schedules is Arkansas, and they beat the Vols last year. Florida is the only team trending down on its 2027 & 2029 schedules.
The new SEC schedule adds a whole new challenge for every team in the league. Tennessee is finally overcoming some of its struggles from before the Josh Heupel era, but that could change as the SEC adds another wrinkle to the schedule.
The Vols have a lot to play for over the next few years, so we will have to see if they will be up for the challenge when they welcome some of the best teams in the country to Rocky Top.
