Later this month, decision time will arrive for one of the best interior offensive lineman in the country and the Tennessee football team is looking to make a splash. This week, On3's Hayes Fawcett reported that 4-star playmaker Zyon Guiles will be announcing his commitment on March 21.
Tennessee is high on his list, but the Vols aren't the only ones in the hunt to land his verbal pledge. Guiles is down to seven schools, with Tennessee being joined by Alabama, South Carolina, Florida State, Clemson, Florida and Georgia. As you can see, there's heavy competition for Josh Heupel and his coaching staff to land the 2026 playmaker:

4-star OL Zyon Guiles will announce his college decision on March 21
Throughout his recruitment, Guiles, a 6-5, 280-pounder, has picked up 24 offers. However, he indeed is down to the seven programs mentioned above. He's ranked four stars and the No. 157 player nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.
Being a South Carolina product, there's plenty of speculation that the Gamecocks and Clemson Tigers might be the frontrunners to land his services. Despite that, the Vols have been putting in serious work in their recruiting efforts and they remain in the mix to land him.
This spring is going to be quite busy for Heupel in terms of recruiting. Targets high on his board have already booked their trips to Knoxville to meet with the team, including 5-star WR Tristen Keys. Keys, the nation's No. 1 WR in the country, will also be back later this year for an official visit.
As for Guiles, he's ready to announce his commitment on March 21. This obviously is not going to be an easy decision for him, as he's choosing between some of the top schools in the country. Will he end up rocking with the Vols? We'll find out soon enough.
