Tennessee basketball fans won't have to wait long before getting some more content from the program. Tennessee Athletics and the basketball program announced they will be releasing a 60-minute documentary on Zakai Zeigler

The documentary, "Bet On Me," will premiere on Tennessee Athletics' YouTube channel at 7 PM ET on Sunday, May 18.

Tennessee basketball released a trailer on its X account, featuring Rick Barnes, Josiah-Jordan James, and Charmaine Zeigler, Zakai's mother.

Tennessee fans immediately shared their excitement in response to the trailer. Zeigler has been a fan favorite over the past few years, primarily because of his hard-nosed, blue-collar mentality on defense.

Zeigler spent four years at Tennessee. He had the opportunity to leave with the transfer portal and NIL, but cemented himself as a VFL and Tennessee basketball legend by staying at Tennessee his whole career.

He averaged 11.3 points and 5.4 assists per game throughout his career. Zeigler finished his career averaging 13.6 points and 7.4 assists, while shooting 40.4% from the field in his senior season.

Zeigler also became the SEC single-season assists leader with 275 assists this past season, on his way to 747 career assists. He also entered Tennessee's record books by becoming Tennessee's all-time steals and assists leader.

No matter who was having a bad night on either end of the court, Rick Barnes could always lean on Zeigler to run the Vols' offense and be a leader on the defense.

That is what makes Zeigler special on the court, but he is also loved for overcoming struggles and persevering off the court. This documentary will cover that as Zeigler prepares to play at the next level with the NBA Draft coming up in June.
