If you ask anyone in Ohio right now, they'll be quick to tell you that the Tennessee football team isn't going to have a shot on Saturday to take down the Ohio State Buckeyes. No, it's not because the Vols don't have the talent to do so.

Instead, people are convinced that UT is going to crumble due to the cold temperatures in Columbus. As things stand, the temps are supposed to be in the mid/high 20s for kickoff, with OSU supporters convinced that it's going to lead to a win for Ryan Day and his players.

Seriously? We're just going to act like Tennessee is going to roll over because the team isn't going to be playing in warm conditions? It's supposed to be around 35 degrees on Saturday night in Knoxville too. Be real. Bru McCoy has seen all the negative talk and he's not here for any of it.

Bru McCoy could care less about the cold conditions for Tennessee vs. Ohio State

"I've played in it (snow) before in my career and really when you get out there on the field and get going, it becomes a non-factor," McCoy said. "Most of it is mental. You just can't let that mess with your preparation or the way that you warm up. You have to be mindful of it because you might have to change some of your routine to stay a little bit warmer, but other than that it's just part of the game."

Quarterback Nico Iamaleava was also asked about the snow/cold and he pretty much echoed what McCoy had to say. These players aren't scared of anything and they're not going to let some potential snowflakes take their focus of trying to move on to the next round.

The Vols are underdogs for this one, but Neyland North could be displayed with so many fans expected to make the trip to Columbus. There's going to be a ton of orange in the stands, which is something McCoy and others will appreciate. Yes, it will be a bit cold on Saturday night, but that will be something the players will welcome and not run away from.
