EA Sports has shared the first bits of information for its upcoming game, College Football 26. The game will offer several new features, including offering players the opportunity to play with real coaches.
College Football 25 was a success last year, offering players the opportunity to play with their favorite programs and build smaller programs into dynasties.
Tennessee football confirmed on Friday morning that its coaches will be in the game. Head Coach Josh Heupel will be in the game, joined by offensive coordinator Joey Halzle and defensive coordinator Tim Banks.
This will be the first time coaches will be featured in the game since EA Sports rebooted the series last year. Coaches were last seen in NCAA Football 14 over ten years ago.
Tennessee football's X account also shared the first screenshots of Tennessee players and Neyland Stadium, and the game looks even better than last year's.
From pictures and clips in the reveal trailer, it looks like players will have the opportunity to experience Neyland Stadium like never before with dynamic lighting and improved in-stadium presentation.
EA Sports shared that over 300 coaches will be in the game, and the playbook will be more in-depth and specific to each school.
"With over 2,800 new plays and unique schemes like Rice's Modern Option and Penn State's Gadget Heavy, thousands of players and over 300 real-world coaches with true-to-life schemes, this is our most authentic college football experience yet," EA Sports shared.
EA Sports shared that the game will be released on July 10 as they look to take their college football experience to the next level in this year's game.
