We know that Tennessee football fans might still be down in the dumps after that loss to Georgia - it's fully understandable. However, just because a loss was posted doesn't mean it's all bad news for the Vols and head man Josh Heupel.

From a recruiting standpoint, it was close to a perfect weekend, as the targets in town saw how electric Knoxville can be for a big game. Four-star EDGE Andrew Rogers was on campus and he clearly loved what he saw.

Rogers entered his unofficial visit as a Virginia Tech commit, but after the Hokies suffered yet another embarrassing loss, head coach Brent Pry was fired. Now, Rivals' Steve Wiltfong has put in his prediction for Rogers to flip his verbal to the Vols in the near future:

Tennessee football is now the favorite to flip 4-star Virginia Tech EDGE commit Andrew Rogers

Should this happen, a major assist will go to 5-star Tennessee commit Faizon Brandon. Rogers is Brandon's teammate at Grimsley High in North Carolina and the two were at the Tennessee-Georgia game together in Week 3.

Brandon is no stranger to helping the Vols land big-time commits. Everyone is still talking about Tennessee flipping former 5-star LSU commit Tristen Keys, who is also ranked the No. 1 wideout in the country. Yeah, that was incredible news for Heupel.

Keys, who was also in Knoxville for the game, and Brandon making plays together is something Vols fans are already dreaming about. Will Rogers end up deciding that he also wants to be part of the exciting future that's ahead for Tennessee?

Things are looking that way. According to the 247Sports composite, the 6-6, 240-pounder is ranked the No. 32 EDGE in the country and No. 361 prospect nationally for the 2026 class. He's most certainly on 'flip watch' moving forward and it wouldn't be a surprise at all if he officially changes his plans this week.
