Vol Twitter is making its final preparations for Tennessee's matchup against Ohio State on Saturday night. Over the past couple of weeks, Tennessee fans have pushed OSU fans in every way possible on social media, and the newest troll just might be the best.
Tennessee fans were able to change Ohio State's home football stadium from Ohio Stadium to Neyland North on Apple Maps. This is one of many hilarious things Vols fans have done to pick on the Buckeye faithful ahead of Tennessee's debut in the College Football Playoffs.
The update to Apple Maps took place on Wednesday afternoon as Apple officially changed the name to Neyland North before changing it back to Ohio Stadium later in the afternoon.
This comes after a string of shots Tennessee fans have taken at Ohio State, including updating Ohio Stadium's Wikipedia page to include "Neyland North" to its list of nicknames. It's not surprising that Vols fans got the name updated on Apple Maps.
Josh Pate, CBS Sports analyst and host of "Josh Pate's College Football Show," warned America about Tennessee fans on Tuesday. Vols fans have proven their relentlessness on social media.
"I think America does not fully understand these people," Pate said on CBS Sports Network. I think anyone surprised by this has not fully embedded themselves like Tennessee fandom."
Tennessee fans are expected to travel well for Tennessee's first-round CFP game. The Vols are predicted to have 30% of the stadium covered in orange. If that's the case, it could eliminate most of Ohio State's home-field advantage on a cold night in Columbus.
