Tennessee football fans want to make a big impact in the Vols' upcoming game against Alabama. The athletic department and Athletic Director Danny White announced an "Orange Out" for the Third Saturday in October.

They are running back the same plan they had in 2022, the last time Alabama came to town. The Vols beat Alabama 52-49, their first win against the Tide since 2006.

Tennessee fans made a big impact in the Vols' 2022 win over the Tide. The crowd noise allowed the Vols to jump out into a lead, which was good enough to win the game by the end of the night. Just look at how the crowd affected Alabama's first quarter possession backed against its own goal line.

Kalen DeBoer didn't say that Neyland is "not that loud" but the point still proves that Neyland can get really loud, and fans want to break their own record they set in 2023.

Neyland Stadium the loudest college football stadium of all time by recording 137 decibels against Georgia last season. Tennessee didn't quite hit that level this past Saturday against Florida, but the noise caused the entire stadium to shake, making the end zone camera shaky.

There aren't many opponents who leave Neyland Stadium saying the crowd noise wasn't a factor, regardless of the game's outcome. Baker Mayfield famously said Neyland is "a different type of loud. I can't even describe it. It was unbelievable."

Tennessee fans haven't had a reason to be loud until the past few years. Oklahoma's visit in 2016, Florida and Alabama games in the past few years, and most recently, Georgia in 2023 were all games that fans showed up for and this Saturday won't be any different.

Fans are looking to break the decibel record set in November 2023. Both teams are hungry for another win in the rivalry and keep their Playoff hopes alive with a much-needed ranked win.

The Vols and Tide are set to play at 3:30 PM ET on ABC as a part of their new SEC on ABC broadcast. Sean McDonough and Greg McElroy will be making the call from the booth and will be joined by Molly McGrath on the sideline.
