The focus for the Tennessee football team is on the UAB Blazers for Week 4. However, for those of you keeping an eye on things for the first road SEC battle of the season, we now have a confirmed kickoff time for the Sept. 27 showdown at Mississippi State.

On Monday afternoon, it was announced that the two sides will be kicking things off at 4:15 p.m. ET. On top of that, it was also revealed that the game will be showcased on the SEC Network. Will the Vols be able to continue their recent dominance over the Bulldogs?

Tennessee has won eight of its last nine games against MSU. The Bulldogs will hope to get some revenge on the Vols, but we don't see it happening. Still, this should serve as a tough road contest for Joey Aguilar and the rest of the offense.

The hope is that the Vols will enter that game at 3-1 - UT is currently a big-time favorite going up against UAB this weekend. Tennessee is of course coming off the heartbreaking loss to Georgia at Neyland on Saturday.

We don't need to keep bringing things up, but it was certainly a defeat that's going to haunt people for a long time. Like Aguilar said, though, this team is going to be focused on flushing that defeat, studying things in the film room and making sure that one game doesn't define the entire campaign.

Tennessee has a great opportunity to post back-to-back wins and improve to 4-1. Should that end up being the case, the Vols will enter the bye week with plenty of confidence and then get back to work on Oct. 11 against Arkansas. Then, the Oct. 18 matchup at Alabama will get here before you know it and that's a meeting that people simply can't wait for.
