Tennessee football shared a video on X calling out the haters and doubters that have written off the Vols before they even take the field against Ohio State. The video is narrated by VFL and Detroit Lions quarterback Hendon Hooker.

There is a common theme in some of Tennessee football's social accounts' posts throughout the week, which is prevalent in this video.

Josh Heupel and the football program are coming into this game with a 'Vols vs. Everybody' mentality. This has worked really well for Oregon this year, which is living by the 'FEBU' mentality, which essentially states it's Ducks vs. Everybody.

It is clear Heupel and the Vols are tired of the talk, and they are ready to put the ball down and "let the pads talk," as Hooker said.

"Put the ball down" has been the team motto, at least from a social media perspective, over the past couple of weeks as Tennessee prepares for its first College Football Playoff game since the CFP era began in 2014.

Tennessee isn't letting the talk, doubts, and hate get to them. They are focused on putting everything out on the field in front of thousands of Tennessee fans who are expected to flood the Buckeyes' home and give their all for Tennessee the same way they did when the Vols played at LSU in 2022.

One of the biggest challenges for a rising football program is finding ways to win games you haven't won before. Tennessee has slayed the giant of Alabama twice in the last three years. They have dominated their SEC rivals Florida, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt, and they are competing for the top spots in the SEC and the nation.

Tennessee is going to be ready for its first CFP game. They are given no chance at winning in a hostile environment but don't tell them that. They're ready for kick-off at 8:00 PM ET and to put the ball down and go play.
