Tennessee football came out of the gates swinging against Georgia and has shown its offensive playmaking ability and explosiveness early in the game.

The Vols scored a touchdown on each of its first three drives, building a quick 21-7 lead over the No. 6 Georgia Bulldogs.

Chris Brazzell was a big reason for Tennessee's early lead, catching two touchdowns, including one incredible play that ended with him walking into the endzone for a touchdown.

After a couple of quarters where the Vols' offense went silent, and Georgia came back to take the lead, Joey Aguilar and the Vols came back and responded to Georgia's offense, retaking the lead and scoring two touchdowns in the final 16 minutes of the game.

The Vols' offense gave them a chance to win the game, including a final drive, putting the ball at the 25-yard line for Max Gilbert to kick the game-winning field goal. After a few dramatic minutes, Gilbert pushed the kick wide right and sent the game to overtime.

The missed field goal all but sealed the deal. Tennessee went three-and-out in overtime and settled for a field goal, forcing redshirt freshman Gunner Stockton to score in Georgia's overtime drive, and he did just that, winning the game for Georgia.

Aguilar looked dominant throughout the game, leading the Tennessee offense. He finished with 371 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions.

Brazzell was the leading receiver with a dominant game with six receptions for 177 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Staley had the second-most receiving yards and the other receiving touchdown with 97 yards and one touchdown in the game.

Star Thomas led the Vols on the ground in a disappointing running game with 60 yards on eight carries. Aguilar had the only rushing touchdown in the game.

The Vols played a great game, but once again fell short in a game that looked like Tennessee was going to win several times throughout the day. Now the Vols will turn to one of their last non-conference games of the season against UAB.
