The start of the Tennessee football game against Kentucky could not have gone much better for the Vols. The opening drive was capped off with a beautiful long touchdown toss from stud quarterback Joey Aguilar to Chris Brazzell. However, how many of you out there missed the TD?

Tennessee football vs. Kentucky final odds and a prediction

Originally, kickoff was scheduled for 7:45 p.m. and the game was set to be televised on the SEC Network. However, because of Texas and Mississippi State going to overtime, things got pushed back to 7:55 p.m. and the start of the action was moved to ESPNEWS. You've got to be kidding. Well, here's the Aguilar to Brazzell TD in case you indeed did miss it:

Texas nearly blowing it vs. Mississippi State impacted Tennessee fans

In the end, Texas was able to pull off a win in overtime against the Bulldogs, but Arch Manning went down with an injury and he looked a little 'wobbly' going into the injury tent. Yeah, that's not good at all for the Longhorns, but they'll take the win for now.

With that said, it was a hectic day for the Longhorns, with a report arriving earlier in the day that Steve Sarkisian was interested in potentially leaving for an NFL job, including the open one with the Tennessee Titans. Wait, what?

Sark's reps then released a statement that he's not interested in making any kind of a jump and that his full focus is on leading Texas. Think this served as a distraction for a locker room getting ready to play on the road in a difficult environment? You bet.

Texas took down MSU on a punt return for a TD in overtime and the SEC Network quickly made the switch to the Tennessee game. For those of us who didn't have quick access to ESPNEWS, the Brazzell TD was missed, which was a bummer. That wouldn't have been the case if Texas would have just cruised to a win like they were supposed to. Thanks a lot, Sark.
