Tennessee football will continue to have high expectations next season as the Vols have one of the highest projected win totals for 2025.
Fanduel Sportsbook has put Tennessee's win line at 9.5 wins in the year, meaning the Vols could be right back in the College Football Playoff picture next season and have a chance to win ten or more games.
The Vols' 9.5 wins are currently the second-highest win total for next season. Ohio State, Oregon, Notre Dame, and Penn State are all above Tennessee, with each program's projected win total set at 10.5 points.
Tennessee joins three other teams at 9.5 wins, with Georgia, Texas, and Clemson also holding the second-highest win total ahead of the 2025 season, which starts with Spring practice a couple of months away.

That's not a bad place for Tennessee to be with Nico Iamaleava's second season as the Vols' starting quarterback. The Vols have retooled its team and will look to get back to the CFP after making its first appearance last season.
Some notable teams below Tennessee at Alabama, LSU, Michigan, and Indiana at 8.5 wins, USC and North Carolina at 7.5 wins, and Florida and Colorado at 6.5 wins.
Florida is one of the trendy underdog picks to make the CFP next season, so it is surprising to see the Gators' win total so low, given the high expectations already being set.
The Vols have a realistic opportunity to win at least ten games again in 2025. To do that, Josh Heupel and company will have to prioritize winning every game the Vols are supposed to win.
Tennessee can't suffer another disappointing road loss, with road trips to Tuscaloosa and Gainsville already on the schedule for next season.
