Come Saturday, Tennessee football fans are going to either be glued to their seats in front of a TV for the showdown vs. Syracuse, or on hand in Atlanta for the season-opener. Either way, people can't wait for the campaign to start to see what this new-look team is made of.
Leave it to the Vols' creative team to get people even more fired up for kickoff to arrive. With it being game week, Tennessee decided to start the new week off with a hype video that sure has people talking. Try watching the clip below without getting pumped up. Come on, that's just perfect right there. There's no place like home and that sentiment could not ring more true for the Tennessee faithful. There's something about the UT campus that is simply unmatched across the country and that was showcased in the video.
If anything, it has everyone ready for Week 2 at Neyland Stadium vs. East Tennessee State to get here. The week after, Knoxville is going to be on a totally different level with Georgia and Kirby Smart making their way to town. Before that, though, Syracuse is up first.
That's right, the two teams will get things started at noon on Saturday at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Joey Aguilar is the starting quarterback for the 2025 campaign and there's pressure on him to live up to the hype. Will he answer the call for Heupel?
Don't forget about the ground game, with Star Thomas, DeSean Bishop AND Peyton Lewis all set to make big impacts on O this fall. After a long offseason and summer, the Vols will be packing their bags soon and heading south to the ATL for their highly-anticipated season-opener. Tennessee is a big favorite for this one and Vols fans everywhere are getting mentally prepared for a big win. Let's hope that ends up being the case.
