Tennessee football has been pretty quiet during the transfer portal this cycle. The Vols only have two additions with 18 players leaving the program. Tennessee's transfer portal class is currently 98th in the conutry with only two commits.

The Vols' two transfer portal signings include three-star Alabama wide receiver Amari Jefferson and three-star Arizona offensive lineman Wendell Moe. While Jefferson is an important pickup for Tennessee's receiver depth, Moe has quietly put up some elite stats in the past two seasons at Arizona.

Pro Football Focus shared some stats from Moe's previous two seasons at Arizona where he was elite in pass protection. He played 1,019 passing snaps and only allowed one sack and three quarterback hits. If he can deliver the same performance for Tennessee, the Vols have immediately upgraded its offensive line before spring practice.

The Long Beach, California, native has two seasons of eligibility remaining. He played most of his snaps for Arizona at left guard but played a couple of games at right guard as well. His experience could be paramount to protecting Nico Iamaleava in 2025.

Tennessee is losing multiple key players on the offensive line, including center Cooper Mays, guard Javontez Spraggins, and right tackle John Campbell, who are all graduating and heading to the NFL.

The Vols' offensive line could continue to change as the spring transfer portal window opens opportunities for Tennessee to add other dynamic players similar to Moe.

There are still some players available in the transfer portal that can help Tennessee in 2025 and beyond but the list gets smaller by the day. Tennessee's quiet transfer portal class could hurt the Vols' depth if they can't add more depth on both sides of the ball.
