The SEC has updated its injury report ahead of Tennessee's matchup against Arkansas, and it's about what we expected with big players still out for the Vols.

Cornerbacks Jermod McCoy and Rickey Gibson III remain out, which continues to be a big hit to the Vols' secondary. Colton Hood has been a big part of Tennessee's success on the backend of the defense, but the Vols are in desperate need of more help.

McCoy, the most anticipated player on the injury report, returned to practice to begin individual workouts but has yet to join the team for a full practice. His return to the practice field puts him one step closer to returning to the field, but it seems like he still has a few more hurdles to clear.

Offensively, wide receiver Radarious Jackson is also out, tight end Ethan Davis remains questionable, and wide receiver Travis Smith Jr. has been listed as doubtful.

Returning to the field for the Vols is defensive lineman Daevin Hobbs, who is set to take the field for the first time this season. Jaxson Moi and David Sanders are also officially off the injury report after taking the field against Mississippi State.

Arkansas, however, has several more players out, similar to last season's matchup between the Vols and Razorbacks. They have eight players on their injury report, all listed as out.

Wide receivers Monte Harrison, Ismael Cisse, and Jalen Brown, tight ends Jeremiah Beck Jr. and Andreas Paaske, defensive back Quentavius Scandrett, running back AJ Green, and defensive lineman David Oke are all listed as out for Saturday's matchup. Defensive back Jaheim Singletary has been upgraded to questionable.

Tennessee and Arkansas are set to kick off at 4:15 PM ET on SEC Network. The Vols are looking to get some revenge after last year's 19-14 loss in Fayetteville as they hope to make another run at the College Football Playoff.
