Tennessee football is preparing for a big conference matchup this weekend as the Georgia Bulldogs come to Rocky Top.

It is one of the most-anticipated games on Rocky Top since Tennessee hosted Alabama in 2022. That game ended well for the Vols. Could this Saturday prove the same on Rocky Top?

How to watch Tennessee football vs. Georgia in Week 3

The game is set to be televised on ABC for its 3:30 PM ET slot, which is the national television station's primetime slot for SEC football. Cord-cutters can watch streams available on the ESPN app and fubo.tv

If you do make it to Neyland Stadium on Saturday, make sure you prepare for the gameday festivities, as it will be the Vols' annual Checker Neyland game.

Who are the announcers for Tennessee vs. Georgia on ABC?

There will be a lot of eyes on Rocky Top this Saturday as ESPN's College Gameday is coming to town for the top-15 SEC matchup.

The primetime SEC on ABC crew will be joining Tennessee and Georgia for the game. Chris Fowler will be the play-by-play voice next to Kirk Herbstreit as the color commentator, and Holly Rowe on the sidelines.

Tennessee vs Georgia Week 3 Odds

The Vols are a trendy pick for the game despite being the underdogs. The betting line opened at 6.5 points but has been shaved down to a 3.5-point line. A lot of bettors love the Vols as the underdog, especially with the early line giving Tennessee a touchdown to work with, and that trend has continued throughout the first half of the week.

The over/under for the game is set at 49.5 points, and bettors are taking the under for this game as well, leaving a lot of America expecting a lower scoring game and Tennessee to come out on top.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.

Tennessee injury update against Syracuse

The injury bug has not been kind to Tennessee so far this year. While it was unlikely for Tennessee to have standout corner Jermod McCoy, it will be a challenge for the Vols to be without McCoy and their next-best corner, Rickey Gibson III.

Gibson suffered an injury in the Syracuse win and has not returned to the field since Week 1. He won't return against Georgia, either, as the Vols will have to dive into their depth chart to piece together their secondary led by Colorado transfer corner Colton Hood.

Offensively, the Vols have been pretty healthy with the exception of Freshman five-star offensive lineman David Sanders Jr., who has not made his college football debut this season.

Tennessee vs. Georgia head-to-head history

The Vols and Bulldogs have a long history full of hate and winning streaks. Georgia leads the series 29-23-2, largely thanks to an eight-game winning streak. There have been seven separate streaks of four straight wins or more, including a 19-6 Georgia run since 2000.

Since Kirby Smart's first season at Georgia, he has not lost to Tennessee and has been dominant, beating Tennessee by a combined score of 303 points to Tennessee's 104 points.

Josh Heupel's Tennessee teams haven't scored more than 17 points in a single game, but that could change this Saturday as the Vols have shown their offense could be as dynamic as ever with Joey Aguilar running the show.
