If Tennessee football is going to pull off a big-time upset of Georgia on Saturday, Josh Heupel and Co. are going to have to do so without some key playmakers out on the field. Leading up to kickoff, we already knew that Rickey Gibson III and Jermod McCoy wouldn't be healthy enough to go up against the Bulldogs.
However, they're not the only ones. The latest injury report arrived and it was confirmed that defensive lineman Daevan Hobbs and running back Hunter Barnes will also be out. In more negative news, Pete Thamel has reported that both David Sanders Jr. and Jaxson Moi won't be able to suit up for this one either.

Tennessee DL Jaxson Moi is not expected to play against Georgia
The Moi news in particular stings for Tennessee. He's a stud defensive lineman and he's able to plug up holes in the middle of the trenches. He injured his elbow early on against Syracuse in the season-opener, with Moi also missing Week 2 vs. East Tennessee State.
There was some hope he'd be able to play, but that won't be the case. The same could be said for Sanders, the 5-star freshman who is dealing with a 'lingering' shoulder injury. Sanders hasn't been able to play yet this campaign and it's unknown when he can make his Vols debut.
Thankfully for Heupel and his staff, Jesse Perry has stepped in at right tackle and he has performed strongly for this team. Perry will need to post another big game for Tennessee, especially going up against such a talented DL group that Georgia features.
Georgia remains a small favorite for the Week 3 tilt, but with Knoxville buzzing leading up to kickoff, plenty of people think a UT victory could be on the way. Soon enough, we'll find out if that happens or not, but Tennessee indeed will be a bit short handed going up against Kirby Smart and the Dawgs.
