It's getting hard to keep track of all the commitments coming in for the Tennessee football team. After landing two new pledges on Friday, Josh Heupel is back in business on Saturday. This time, it's an in-state playmaker who has decided to announce for the Vols.
On Saturday, 3-star athlete Zaydyn Anderson decided that he doesn't need any additional time to figure out where he'll be playing his college ball. Nope, he's going to be making the move from Greeneville to Knoxville, as he just gave Heupel and Co. his verbal:

In-state ATH Zaydyn Anderson has committed to Tennessee football and Josh Heupel
With Anderson living so close to Knoxville, it felt like it was only a matter of time until he announced for UT. He took his official visit to campus on June 20. In addition to that trip, he also took an OV to Cincinnati on June 6 and Toledo on May 30.
Throughout his recruitment, the 5-11, 165-pounder picked up 13 offers. Per the 247Sports Composite, Anderson is ranked the No. 31 ATH in the country and No. 14 player overall from Tennessee. He becomes the 12th commit for the 2026 class. However, is more good news on the way?
4-star ATH Legend Bey has been predicted to commit to Tennessee on Saturday
While there's plenty of excitement surrounding the Anderson news, keep in mind too that another pledge might be on the way. On Saturday night, Forney, Texas product Legend Bey is announcing his decision and Steve Wiltfong put in his prediction for Tennessee to come out on top over Texas A&M.
Bey is a 4-star playmaker and he has picked up well over 30 offers this cycle. Teams with high interest in him include Tennessee, Texas A&M, West Virginia, Notre Dame and others. Could Heupel end up landing his fourth new playmaker in the past two days for the '26 class before the day wraps up? It looks like that could end up being the case.
