Is there anyone having a better time out on the recruiting trail of late than Tennessee Vols women's basketball coach Kim Caldwell? Seriously, Caldwell and her staff can't be stopped in landing some of the top prospects in the country.

Well, you can add another elite playmaker to the list. On Monday night, 5-star PF Lauren Hurst decided to shut things down, picking between Tennessee, Clemson and North Carolina State. The Cleveland, Tenn. product just announced her decision and she's staying home to play for Caldwell and the Lady Vols:

Boom! According to 247Sports, Hurts is indeed ranked a 5-star playmaker, plus the No. 11 power forward in the country. She had a boatload of offers, but in the end she decided that she doesn't want to travel far to play her college ball. She's yet another elite addition for Caldwell's 2025 class.

Earlier this month, Caldwell landed commitments from 5-star standouts Jaida Civil and Deniya Prawl, who were also highly-touted targets. In addition to that, 5-star point guard Mia Pauldo is also Tennessee-bound, while her sister Mya Pauldo (high 4-star recruit) will also play in Knoxville starting next season.

Meanwhile on the hardwood, Tennessee is a perfect 4-0, with Caldwelll's first season in charge going remarkably well. Add in the fact that she's crushing it with recruiting too and things sure are looking bright for the future of the program.

Whenever a key in-state player is involved, Tennessee is always going to want to keep the top talent around. There was some concern that Hurst would potentially announce for either NC State or Clemson, but that didn't turn out to be the case. Props to Caldwell and her coaches for once again posting a win in a huge recruiting battle. This '25 class sure is something special.
