As each day passes, there's more hope that Tennessee and Rick Barnes are going to pull things off when it comes to elite transfer wing Juke Harris. Harris has been down to North Carolina, Michigan and Tennessee for a little while, though the Vols and Wolverines have emerged as potential leaders.

With Nate Ament going to the NBA Draft, Rick Barnes has an obvious move to make

Well, it now looks like Tennessee is on the verge of landing his commitment any day now? That's what On3's Chris Low seems to think, as he has predicted Barnes to eventually win this recruiting battle. However, there's a bit of a catch here, as Harris is also considering staying in the NBA Draft.

Tennessee is on commit watch for elite transfer wing Juke Harris

That's obviously great news from Low, as Tennessee could be set to finalize things. However, as Joe Tipton just noted, the NBA Draft indeed is something that could prevent Harris from making the move to Knoxville after all.

As things stand, Harris is projected to be either a late first-round pick or an early second-rounder. If he were a lock to be taken in the first round, then sure, by all means we'd tell him to skip coming back to college and go pro. However, potentially being a second-rounder changes everything.

That's why this decision is not easy for him and why it has taken so long for him to make up his mind. Still, plenty of signs are pointing to Tennessee getting an answer from the Wake Forest transfer this week one way or the other.

After watching that clip from Low, it really is starting to feel like Harris will either commit to Tennessee or stay in the draft. Michigan was hoping he'd help Dusty May try to repeat, but unless a last-minute shocker comes in, that's not going to happen.

With Nate Ament understandably leaving for the NBA Draft, bringing in a player of Harris's caliber would be incredible for Barnes. The legendary coach has a Final Four in mind for next season and adding Harris to his lineup sure would help make that dream come true. In the coming days, we may find out what Harris decides to do, but Low has given the Tennessee faithful plenty to be optimistic about.
