Tennessee football moved up one spot to No. 19 in the College Football Playoff rankings after the Vols' dominant 31-11 win over Florida.

Ohio State unsurprisingly remains the No. 1 team in the country, with No. 2 Indiana right behind. Other notable teams in the final regular-season Playoff ranking are No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 4 Georgia, No. 7 Ole Miss, No. 9 Oklahoma, No. 10 Alabama, No. 14 Vanderbilt, and No. 16 Texas.

Tennessee is 8-3 heading into the final week of the regular season and remains one of the top three-loss teams in the country.

Unfortunately, the Vols’ CFP hopes have been dashed with three losses. There are too many two-loss teams for the Vols to even have a chance to sneak in, but a win over Vanderbilt could knock them out of CFP contention.

The Vols have won nine games in each of the last three years, so a win over Vanderbilt would make it four straight seasons that Tennessee has won at least nine games in a season. Tennessee has not achieved that feat since 1995-1998, when the Vols won at least ten games in each of those four seasons.

Tennessee is heading into a big top-20 matchup against Vanderbilt, with the opportunity to win its ninth game and a shot at ten wins for the third time in the last four years, getting the Vols close to their mid-to-late 90s success.

The Vols and Commodores are set to kick off at 3:30 PM ET on ESPN for Tennessee's final game inside of Neyland Stadium this year. A win would eliminate Vanderbilt from CFP contention and could jump the Vols inside the top-15 for bowl season.
