Tennessee football is making its final preparations for its rivalry matchup against the Florida Gators. It's another road night game for the Vols, and they have received some good news and bad news ahead of the rivalry game.

The Vols expect offensive lineman Wendell Moe to be available for the game as he was removed from Tennessee's injury report on Friday.

While the Vols have their starting guard available, one of the Vols' running backs has been ruled out. Peyton Lewis will not be available against the Gators on Saturday night.

The absence of Lewis won't be detrimental to Tennessee's offense, but it will hurt not to have one of the Vols' running back trio on the field against a stout Florida defense.

Lewis has been a solid back for the Vols in his sophomore season, especially when they haven't been able to find a consistent running game. He has 70 carries for 290 yards and seven touchdowns this season.

Other notable players that have been ruled out for the Florida game are defensive backs Rickey Gibson III, Jermod McCoy, and Sidney Walton; tight end Miles Kitselman; and wide receiver Joakim Dodson.

That has been pretty consistent with who Tennessee has had available throughout the season, except for Lewis and Kitselman, who are out for this game.

As for the rest of the Vols, they will look to win their first game in Gainesville since 2003, breaking a two-decade curse against a depleted Florida squad.

The Gators have 12 players ruled out, with two others listed as questionable. Florida quarterback DJ Lagway will be available for this game, but the interim Gators staff seems not to be sold on him, so we will see if they have a different game plan at quarterback if things start to go south.

Tennessee and Florida are set to kick off at 7:30 PM ET as the Vols have yet another tough road night test before heading home next week for their season finale against Vanderbilt.
