Tennessee came into the Georgia game, holding teams to less than 20 points in its past ten games. The Vols defense had averaged less than 13 points per game coming into Saturday night, but everyone knew that could be challenged if Georgia could sort out its struggles with Carson Beck under center.

Dating back to the Citrus Bowl against Iowa, the Vols' defense hadn't allowed more than 19 points all season until Saturday night against the Bulldogs. The vaunted Vols defense finally broke, allowing Georgia to become the first team to break the 20-point barrier this season.

If Georgia wanted to put points on the board throughout this game, the Bulldogs are going to have to rely on Carson Beck to air out the ball. They have so far in this game, and it has worked out well for the Georgia offense.

Although the Bulldogs have had to rely on the pass, it was Beck's legs that scored the Bulldogs' third touchdown of the night.

Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green is one of the couple of quarterbacks to throw for over 200 yards this season. Green holds the most passing yards against Tennessee this season with 266 yards. Beck is already threatening to break that mark against the Tennessee secondary.

Beck has thrown for 233 yards with about a quarter and a half remaining in the game, while the Vol's run defense has shown up to do a pretty decent job against Georgia's run game, with 87 rushing yards to this point.

Tennessee's defense has had a "bend, don't break" mentality all season, and that has benefitted them greatly, but it didn't work great for them Saturday night against the Bulldogs.

If the Vols want to leave Athens with a win, the defense will have to hunker down for the remainder of the second half.
