Tennessee vs. Kennesaw State: Final odds and eye-opening predictions for Week 3

Just like the fanbase drew up, Tennessee is 2-0 to start the year and quarterback Faizon Brandon continues to grow with his confidence. Come this weekend, the Vols will host Kennesaw State in their last non-conference game of the year.

All signs are pointing to this being a blowout for Tennessee, as Josh Heupel and Co. will enter this contest favored by 35.5 points, per the FanDuel Sportsbook. We're of course predicting a monster win for Tennessee (more on that below), but that's not all. Here are three bold predictions for this matchup at Neyland Stadium.

Fazion Brandon will throw for his first 300-yard game of his career

This would be wild if it happens, but this also needs to be a bounce-back game for Brandon. In the Week 2 win over Georgia Tech, the 5-star freshman completed 10-of-20 passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns.

Those stats weren't overly impressive, with the 50-percent completion rate being a concern. In Week 1, though, he tossed for 226 yards and three TDs vs. Furman. Against Kennesaw State, Brandon will need to get right and make sure he is firing on all cylinders with No. 1 Texas coming to town next. We will go with 306 yards and four TDs for him in a huge Vols win.

DeSean Bishop hits a career-high in rushing yards... again

Last weekend in Atlanta, running back DeSean Bishop stole the show in the 45-24 Tennessee win. The veteran running back and former walk-on posted a career-high 147 yards to lead the way for the Vols offense.

Against Kennesaw State, something tells us he is going to have another monster performance. Yes, Brandon is going to throw the ball all over the field, but Bishop will do his game running the ball. How about 152 yards and a touchdown. Yup, that sounds pretty good.

Tennessee wins by 45 before taking on the No. 1 Longhorns in Week 4

No one is going to look ahead to the Longhorns coming to town, but Tennessee must play close to perfect football on Saturday to give people hope that an upset will be on the way against Arch Manning and Co.

The Vols should dominate this one from start to finish, with a potential 55-10 win on the way. Should that happen, Tennessee will remain in the Top 15 and move up some spots if other teams ahead of them lose. It will give Heupel's playmakers some pep in their step to take on Sark and Texas.

Texas will be a favorite to post a road win in that one, but Tennessee will do everything possible to shock the college football world. First, a monster win in Week 3 needs to get posted and plenty of signs are pointing to the Vols getting that job done.
