Tennessee vs. Michigan odds change at the last minute in a rough way for the Vols

The Volunteers continue to be more and more of an underdog with late betting line move.

After a wild game with Iowa State on Saturday night, Tennessee was able to be the silent but deadly team in this NCAA Tournament. With all the focus on top teams like Duke, UConn, and Michigan on Sunday, with final Four trips on the line, Tennessee wants to come in and surprise everyone.

As the lowest seed left in the tournament, the Volunteers have not garnered much attention, and facing the Wolverines on Sunday, oddsmakers continue to lose faith in Tennessee punching its ticket to the Final Four.

Vegas oddsmakers continue to doubt Tennessee with last minute line move

Late Sunday morning, Vegas oddsmakers made a slight change to the betting line for the matchup between Michigan and Tennessee. It may not seem like a lot, but the line has moved from Michigan being a 7.5-point favorite to now an 8.5-point favorite.

The change seems so small, but it's a clear message that Michigan is the true favorite to move on to the Final Four and Tennessee's season will end in the Elite Eight.

This won't be an easy game for Tennessee in the slightest. The Wovlerines have been a force to be reckoned with as they are a complete team. Michigan can score in a hurry and pile it on, but also tighten up its defense when needed.

It will be a tall task for Tennessee to walk out of this game with a trophy and a net cut down heading to the Final Four. It is going to take everything for the Volunteers to win this game, but it all starts with the scoring of Ja'Kobi Gillespie. The star guard is averaging a stellar 18.3 points per game this season, and in the NCAA Tournament, he has yet to score less than 16 points.
