Talk about a night that the youngster is never, never going to forget. Bring up the name Christian Moore around Knoxville and eyes are going to light up. No one has forgotten about the major impact he had with the Tennessee baseball team, helping the Vols win the College World Series in 2024.
Fast forward to present time, and Vols Nation is enjoying watching Moore now suit up for the LA Angels. He was recently called up by the AL West side, as he was lighting things up in the minor leagues. Moore has wasted no time impressing at the big league level too.
On Monday night, Moore, who grew up in Brooklyn, had his breakout game for the Angels in a thrilling extra-innings win. Not only did he post his first hit, but he also scored his first run and had a game-saving defensive play for his new team. Things were only made better for Moore with his family on hand to catch the action in the Bronx too:

Tennessee great Christian Moore had a night to remember vs. the Yankees
Just look at the smile Moore had on his face when speaking to reporters. You could tell this moment meant the world to him and understandably so. Every young man probably dreams of playing at Yankee Stadium. Add in the fact that his family was there to see his big night and it made things 1,000 times better.
Moore really is living the dream right now. He indeed was playing exceptionally well in the minors, which led to the Angels calling him up so fast. Now that he's with the Angels, he's ready to make a quick name for himself and impress people across the country.
He's off to a swimming start in trying to get that job done. It's still early on in his career, but Moore is giving Tennessee fans everywhere plenty of reasons to believe that he's going to be a future All-Star. After what he did while donning a Vols jersey for Tony Vitello, people in Knoxville are not surprised at all that he's already making quite the splash with Los Angeles.
