Tennessee baseball continues to impress after seven games to start the year. The Vols are 7-0 with impressive sweeps over Hofstra and Samford, who will likely be an NCAA Tournament team.
A big reason for two wins over Samford is that Levi Clark provided clutch pinch-hit home runs throughout the series. Clark hit a go-ahead pinch-hit grand slam in the eighth inning of game two and poured onto Tennessee's hitting barrage with another sixth-inning pinch-hit home run.
Now Clark is moving to recruiting for the Vols. He's not out on the recruiting trail, but he is making a bold statement for Tennessee baseball that reiterates the same things players have said in the past about Tennessee and Tony Vitello.
"Tennessee is the place you want to be right now - in all ways," Clark said after the Vols' Game 3 win. "The coaches here are amazing. They're the ones that take you to the next level and get you prepared."

Thanks to Clark's dominant pinch-hitting performance, among other clutch hitting and pitching performances throughout the year, the Vols are 7-0 and have the best record in college baseball.
Clark is right, too. If you want to be developed and compete for championships, Tennessee is the place to be. While top teams like No. 1 Texas A&M and No. 2 LSU are losing unranked matchups, Clark and the Vols are dominating their opponents.
The Vols now look to its midweek matchup against North Alabama before heading to Houston for the Astros Foundation College Classic. Tennessee is set to play Oklahoma State, Rice, and Arizona in the weekend tournament.
