With all the drama that was surrounding the Tennessee football team on Saturday, don't forget that the Vols took the field for the annual spring game. And you know what, some guys had stellar performances. The list includes a wideout you may not be too familiar with.
In this case, we're talking about true freshman receiver Radarious Jackson. The Memphis product looked pretty dang strong throughout the day, which included him no question posting the best play of the afternoon.
In the middle of the action, Jackson hauled in a one-handed grab that reminded a lot of people of Odell Beckham Jr.'s epic TD vs. the Cowboys back in the day. Tennessee provided a new look at his highlight-reel grab and it's quite impressive:

Tennessee WR Radarious Jackson was brilliant in the Vols spring game
Give props to fellow true freshman George MacIntyre for putting this ball at a perfect spot for his WR to go up and make a play. Talk about incredible focus from Jackson too, as he was somehow able to post the unreal one-handed catch.
It's hard to believe that MacIntyre and Jackson both recently arrived on campus, as they graduated from high school early to participate in spring ball and get a head start on their college careers. Thus far, that decision sure is paying off.
Coming out of Sheffield High in Memphis, Jackson was ranked four stars, the No. 33 wide receiver in the country and No. 6 player from Tennessee for the 2025 class. He chose the Vols over additional offers from Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Oregon and many others.
Jackson hauled in a touchdown on the day too, surely turning Josh Heupel's head. It's far too early to think about what kind of an impact Jackson will have for the offense this fall and winter, but the signs are there that this kid has a ton of potential in Knoxville. He's off to a flying start with his career at the next level.
