Vols Recruiting: Quinten Dormady Profile

Quinten Dormady — 2015 Pro-Style QB — Boerne, TX (Boerne) — Committed to Tennessee on 6/9/14

Height: 6’4″

Weight: 210

247Sports rating: Four-Star

Rivals rating: Two-Star

What the experts are saying about Quinten Dormady:

Quinten Dormady is a 2015 recruit that is rated by 247Sports as the fifth best pro-style quarterback in the nation.

Dormady isn’t the type of quarterback that most fans envision running a Butch Jones led offense. His addition proves that Jones doesn’t necessarily need a mobile quarterback to run his system.

If Dormady ends up being the starting quarterback for the Vols in the near future, you can expect to see a UT offense that fans are accustomed to seeing on Rocky Top. A vertical passing game, with a power runner like Jalen Hurd running between the tackles.

Dormady is the perfect quarterback to run that kind of offense. He has a strong arm and he’s very accurate.

There is little doubt that wide receivers like Marquez North and Josh Malone would benefit greatly from Dormady running the offense at Tennessee.
