10. Marques Ford

For being only a 3-star prospect, Marques Ford has received a ton of attention and offers from some high profile programs this summer.

Ford, a 3-star strong-side defensive end out of Gibsonton, Florida, currently holds offers from 36 schools, and the list reads off like a proverbial “Who’s Who” of college football. Clemson, Miami, Virginia Tech, Arkansas, Nebraska, Louisville, Ole Miss, and Wisconsin are just some of the schools who have offered Ford a chance to play at their university.

A closer look at his stats will tell you why he’s receiving so much attention. As a junior, Ford racked up 67 tackles, 17.5 tackles for a loss, 10 sacks, 2 fumbles forced, and a fumble recovery.

He’s been zooming up the recruitment rankings, and if things continue to go the way they have been, he could begin drawing interest from even more premier programs.

While there is no clear cut leader for Ford at this time, he certainly has his pick of schools to go to next year. Rutgers and several ACC schools appear to be teams he’s high on now, but don’t be surprised if a team not even on his radar at the moment comes in and lands him.
