The addition of Quay Picou to the Tennessee Volunteers’ 2015 recruiting class is another example of Butch Jones addressing UT’s porous defensive line.
The Vols are essentially starting over at defensive line and Picou is a great addition. He’s big enough to play defensive tackle, but he’s quick enough to move to defensive end if the need arises. He can fill the gaps, as well as get into the backfield and be disruptive.
Picou is a guy that will probably fly under the radar a bit when the Vols’ 2015 recruiting class is being discussed, but anytime you can go into Georgia and steal a four-star recruit, it’s a pretty big deal.
