When the Tennessee Volunteers landed stud defensive tackle Kahlil McKenzie, they instantly solidified their defensive line.
McKenzie is a can’t miss prospect that is not only a run-stuffing defensive tackle, but he can also get after the quarterback. He’s the Vols’ biggest get in the recruiting world since Eric Berry, another Vol legacy (McKenzie’s father played linebacker for the Vols in the early 1980’s).
The five-star defensive tackle won’t arrive in Knoxville until 2015, but he will immediately compete for playing time as soon as he gets to Rocky Top.
