Most of the NFL training camps are now in full swing and as you’re probably aware, they’re are a litany of former Vols in action.
We just wanted to take a moment and give you a few quick updates from the folks that are covering the NFL every day.
Da’Rick Rogers — Indianapolis Colts
Griff Whalen and Da'Rick Rogers both seeing extended time with 1st team offense today. Griff with several catches. #Colts
— Josh Wilson (@JoshWilsonSB) July 25, 2014
Da'Rick Rogers runs a nice, sharp comeback route and makes an impressive grab. That's what we need to keep seeing! #Colts
— Josh Wilson (@JoshWilsonSB) July 26, 2014
Should be noted, though, that one of the INT's went through Hakeem Nicks' hands and Da'Rick Rogers let the defender take ball from him

Tyler Bray — Kansas City Chiefs
A two play sequence showed Chiefs' dilemma with Tyler Bray. First was a what was he seeing interception right to LB Denman Moses ...
— Adam Teicher (@adamteicher) July 27, 2014
The next was beautiful deep fade to Darryl surgent for td
— Adam Teicher (@adamteicher) July 27, 2014
The yin and yang of Tyler Bray. Throws a terrible INT right to Dezman Moses then hits Fred Williams on a go route for a TD. Nice touch, too.

Cordarrelle Patterson — Minnesota Vikings
Cordarrelle Patterson says it was overtraining that left him with the foot injury that’s kept him out of practice. #Vikings
— Chris Long (@ChrisLongKSTP) July 27, 2014
Cordarrelle Patterson (foot injury): "I can do the conditioning test if I wanted to. I could do that backwards. That's nothing.''
— Chris Tomasson (@christomasson) July 27, 2014
Cordarrelle Patterson is present but not in pads. Maybe tomorrow. #Vikings
— Matt Vensel (@mattvensel) July 27, 2014
Justin Hunter — Tennessee Titans
Justin Hunter continues to catch the ball with much greater ease than last year #Titans
— Jim Wyatt (@jwyattsports) July 27, 2014
#Titans Nate Washington says Justin Hunter's confidence should grow this year: http://t.co/VoMoKo5SKp

Zach Fulton — Kansas City Chiefs
Zach Fulton getting the second-team work at center with Kush hurt.
— RIP Terez A. Paylor (@TerezPaylor) July 27, 2014
Zach Fulton getting reps with 1st team O-Line at RG #Chiefs
— Steven Spector (@StevenSpector10) July 27, 2014
Zach Fulton certainly looks the part. Huge individual. Would not be shocked if he was starting by Week 1 on the OL #Chiefs

Rajion Neal — Green Bay Packers
Harris, Rajion Neal, Hill, Dorsey, Kuhn, LaDarius Perkins, Goodson, Harper and Starks hanging back during punt return
— Wes Hodkiewicz 🌎 (@WesHod) July 26, 2014
Interesting moment when 6-7 287lb Julius Peppers rushed 5-11, 220lb RB Rajion Neal. Lost sight of Neal completely.
— Dan Koob (@SporttradeKoob) July 27, 2014
Tough to tell much about the running game without pads/tackling. RT @skeebo37: How do the rookie RB look especially Rajion Neal?

Montori Hughes — Indianapolis Colts
@Colts Andrew Luck greets @Montori_Hughes 2-month-old daughter Maveah following #NFLTrainingCamp. @IndyStarSports pic.twitter.com/cr702ft3Bw
— Matt Kryger (@MattKryger) July 26, 2014
Pagano says Montori Hughes has dropped weight, moving well, in mix at NT. #ColtsCamp
— George Bremer (@gmbremer) July 25, 2014
Ja’Wuan James — Miami Dolphins
Protection still iffy though with Wake man handling Ja'Wuan James
— Luis D. Sung (@LuisDSung) July 26, 2014
DE Cam Wake just speed-rushed Ja'Wuan James and got around him fairly easily.
— Chris Perkins (@chrisperk) July 26, 2014
Philbin: Very smart, very aware. Intensity picked up w/ shells on. Pick up more tomorrow. Like what seen first 2 days (on Ja'Wuan James)
— The Phinsider (@thephinsider) July 26, 2014
2 quick #Dolphins notes:
— RP (@BreakinDownFilm) July 26, 2014
1. I'm waiting to see if Williams plays in a single game.
2. Ja'Wuan James SHOULD be getting beat by Wake.
Dallas Thomas — Miami Dolphins
#Dolphins first-team line to start the morning: Ja'Wuan James, Dallas Thomas, Shelley Smith, Daryn Colledge, and Brandon Albert
— Corey Brooks (@CBrooksSports) July 26, 2014
Interesting decision by Dolphins coaches to put ROOKIE Ja'Wuan James at RT and second-year (no real experience) Dallas Thomas at RG.
— Armando Salguero (@ArmandoSalguero) July 26, 2014
DT Jared Odrick got the best of G Dallas Thomas, but Thomas did OK.
— Chris Perkins (@chrisperk) July 26, 2014
Starks just forced his will on G Dallas Thomas.
— Chris Perkins (@chrisperk) July 26, 2014
Great run from Lamar Miller. Nobody touched him for 20 yards. Ran through hole opened by Dallas Thomas I think.
