Running Back

First Team: Arian Foster

Second Team: Montario Hardesty

Arian Foster isn’t very popular among Vol fans, but he is Tennessee’s second all-time leading rusher.

So how can he not be the first team guy?!?!

Foster’s 2007 season was one of the better seasons that any Vol running back has ever had. He finished with 1,193 rushing yards and 39 catches for 340 yards to go along with 14 total touchdowns.

Hardesty, on the other hand, had an even better season in 2009 under Lane Kiffin. The North Carolina native rushed for 1,345 yards and caught 25 passes for 302 yards. He also had 14 total touchdowns in his best season as a Vol.

I gave the edge to Foster simply because of the better overall career numbers.
