The Tennessee Volunteers’ top remaining 2015 target, defensive tackle Shy Tuttle, kicked off his senior season of high school at North Davidson on Friday night and immediately made an impact.

North Davidson won the game 38-0 over Thomasville.
Tuttle is a five-star recruit from Lexington, NC. He is set to announce his commitment on September 26. He’s expected to choose between Clemson, Miami, North Carolina, NC State and Tennessee.
The Vols have a lot of momentum here. I think they have a legitimate shot at landing Tuttle, who is the top recruit in the state of North Carolina.
If the Vols do get a commitment from Tuttle, it would give them the most impressive defensive tackle haul in the 2015 recruiting class. Tennessee also recently received a commitment from Vol legacy Kahlil McKenzie.
