Scott was drafted in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played in two games for the Steelers in 2011, before spending parts of the next three seasons with the Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans and the Buffalo Bills, before landing with the Carolina Panthers.
The former Vol played in ten games for the Panthers last season, starting eight of those games at guard.
The Panthers are dealing with several injuries along their offensive line, which means Scott could eventually see some time on the active roster.
Scott played four seasons for the Volunteers. He started every game during his last three seasons on Rocky Top.
In 2009, he was named to the SEC coaches and AP All-Second team.
