"Two Tennessee men’s basketball assistants have resigned as the NCAA continues its investigation into their former program at Southern Miss. A spokesman for the Vols won’t confirm the resignations are related to the investigation.Assistant coach Adam Howard resigned Monday due to personal reasons, according to a statement from the Tennessee program. When asked whether the resignation was connected to the NCAA’s investigation into Southern Miss, where Howard formerly coached under Donnie Tyndall, a spokesman for the team said he couldn’t elaborate on the statement.Read more at The Tennessean"

"The Chiefs have placed Pro Bowl safety Eric Berry on the non-football illness list after a mass was discovered in his chest following Thursday night’s game in Oakland.Berry began feeling discomfort in his chest near the end of the game, and a series of tests taken in Oakland and back in Kansas City revealed the mass. "Tennessee has sent video of the first of two onside kicks attempted late in its 29-21 loss to Missouri on Saturday to the SEC’s offices, coach Butch Jones said during his weekly press conference Monday.The Vols recovered the attempt but were forced to try again as officials flagged Jalen Reeves-Maybin for offsides, meaning he began his run downfield too early.
