Former Tennessee Volunteers offensive lineman Scott Wells was released by the St. Louis Rams on Monday.

Wells was drafted in the seventh round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers.
The Brentwood, TN native spent the first eight years of his career with the Packers. In 2011 he was voted to his first (and only) Pro-Bowl.
Wells was signed by the Rams prior to the 2012 season.
The former Vol has started 135 of the 146 NFL games in which he’s appeared.
Wells played at Tennessee from 2000-2003. He started in 49 of 50 games as a Vol.
