Former Tennessee Volunteers offensive lineman Antonio “Tiny” Richardson announced his retirement from the NFL on Saturday, after being released by the Minnesota Vikings.

Richardson, who left Tennessee a year early to enter the 2014 NFL Draft, was once a potential day one draft selection.

Unfortunately for the former Vol, his draft stock plummeted due to injury concerns. He ended up signing with the Minnesota Vikings after going undrafted.

Richardson missed the entire 2014 season after undergoing knee surgery.

The Tennessee native started 24 games during his final two seasons as a Vol. He was named to the 2012 and 2013 AP All-SEC second teams.

Richardson will be most remembered for being one of only two players that former SEC star defensive end Jadeveon Clowney complimented during his time at South Carolina.
