There have been over 30 wide outs from the University of Tennessee selected in the NFL draft since 1975. Whether it be Joey Kent, Donte’ Stallworth, Robert Meachem, or Mark Jones, Tennessee prides itself on the name Wide Receiver U.
There are currently four WRU graduates in the NFL, and they are all coming off disappointing seasons. If they do not produce this season, there could be retirements, cuts, or free agency in their futures.
