Jacques McClendon Working As Dolphins’ Backup Right Guard

Former Tennessee Volunteers offensive lineman Jacques McClendon, who signed with the Miami Dolphins this past off-season, is currently working as the team’s backup right guard in OTA’s.

McClendon signed with the Dolphins after spending parts of five seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Last season saw McClendon start three games for the Jaguars. One of those starts came at guard and the other two came at center.

McClendon will give the Dolphins some depth at a position where they have plenty of question marks. He’ll compete with fellow former Vol Dallas Thomas for playing time.
