By Zach Ragan
Former Tennessee Volunteers defensive lineman Tony McDaniel signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday.
McDaniel, who was dismissed from the Tennessee football team after assaulting a fellow Vol student during a pickup basketball game in 2005, went undrafted in 2006 NFL Draft. He was subsequently signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he spent three seasons.
The former Vol then spent four seasons with the Miami Dolphins, before signing with the Seattle Seahawks. McDaniel appeared in two straight Super Bowls with the Seahawks, winning in 2014 and losing in 2015.
McDaniel has 203 career total tackles and 10.5 career sacks.
