Vols 2015 Stat Projections: Alvin Kamara

Former Alabama enrollee and JuCo transfer Alvin Kamara will team with Jalen Hurd to give the Tennessee Vols one of the SEC’s most potent rushing attacks in 2015.
Hurd is already a rising star in the SEC, after a highly successful true freshman season in 2014. Kamara will take some of the pressure off Hurd and will see plenty of playing time.
In fact, while Hurd will be the unquestioned starter, Kamara will probably see close to equal playing time in terms of snaps.
During one season at Hutchinson Community College, Kamara rushed for 1,211 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also added 18 receptions for 219 yards and three touchdowns (he did all of that damage in just nine games).
Kamara likely won’t come close to those numbers in 2015 (there are only so many carries to go around), but he should still have a solid season.
