Former Vols: Matt Darr Wins Dolphins’ Starting Punter Job

Former Tennessee Volunteers punter Matt Darr went undrafted this past year, but he managed to win a starting job in the NFL.

Darr, who started all 13 games for the Vols as a redshirt senior in 2014, was named as the Miami Dolphins’ starting punter on Tuesday.

The California native averaged 42.2 yards per punt at Tennessee in 2014. He also had 21 punts of 50 or more yards.

But what Darr is perhaps even more well known for during his time on Rocky Top is his incredible mustache.

I mean come on, that’s pretty incredible and should play quite well in the city of Miami.
