Jeb Bush Is Picking The Vols Over Florida
By Zach Ragan
Former Florida governor and 2016 presidential candidate Jeb Bush made his prediction for the Vols-Gators matchup this weekend and he didn’t go with his heart.
Bush, who was the governor of Florida from 1999-2007 and still resides in Coral Gables, told reporters in Bristol this week that though he’s a “Florida based person” he thinks Tennessee has the better team and will beat the Gators on Saturday.
You can check out video of his prediction here.
Bush, aside from the fact that he resides in Florida and was the governor of the state, has no connection to the University of Florida. His alma mater is Texas, so that’s likely where his loyalty lies.
Of course it’s also very likely that Bush figures if he were to win the republican nomination that he would win in Florida. So why not try to sway some voters in the state of Tennessee?
