A pro-style quarterback fielding offers from the Alabama Crimson Tide, Florida State Seminoles, Georgia Bulldogs and numerous other elite schools is still giving Tennessee football a look. And he’s now set to visit the Vols again.
Harrison Bailey, out of Marietta High School in Marietta, Ga., hasn’t been ranked on Rivals yet. But he’s a four-star quarterback on 247Sports.
Bailey will visit Tennessee football Saturday. A 2020 prospect, he made the announcement on Twitter Wednesday evening.
A 6’4″ 220-pound player, Bailey is fielding offers from everywhere. However, the 247Sports Crystal Ball has Georgia and Florida as early favorites to land him.
Bailey has been an elite prospect since middle school. In fact, his highlight reel on Rivals right now is from his eighth grade year.
As you can see, he already had amazing form and a big arm then. Of course, its hard to tell just how good he is when he’s playing as a man amongst boys at that point. But what’s clear is the guy can be very good.
He also has another highlight reel showing him performing really well in 7-on-7 drills. Here’s a look at that one.
Once again, that’s an eighth grade highlight reel, and he was already showing great timing, decent accuracy and solid zip on crossing routes and out routes. Depending on how he develops going forward, his potential could be through the roof.
Although Bailey gave the Vols a look before and has visited them multiple times, Tennessee football’s chances with him may have come into question when Jeremy Pruitt took the head coaching job in December. After all, Ryan Callahan of GoVols247 reports that he had not visited Tennessee since that time.

Considering he’s a pro-style guy, he’s definitely a better fit for what Pruitt and Tyson Helton are trying to do in Knoxville. However, he’s clearly not picky about which system he runs. After all, he was looking at Tennessee football when Butch Jones was there. And he’s looking at both Georgia and Florida right now, two schools who run totally different offenses. How he connects with Helton could give the Vols a boost Saturday though, so that makes this visit huge.
