Tennessee football has had some recent success when it comes to the NFL Draft. Three quick mentions that are still in the short term memory banks of Vol fans are Josh Dobbs, Alvin Kamara, and Super Bowl Champion, Derek Barnett.

So now we turn out attention to the Vols that have entered the 2018 NFL Draft. Will they get drafted? If so, where are a couple of best landing spots for each player? This article, our attention is turned to former tight end, Ethan Wolf.

Wolf has a big frame at 6-foot-6. He recorded 91 receptions for 996 yards and added seven touchdowns. The unique thing about Wolf is he could be used early on in his career in either the run or the passing game.

While at Tennessee, Wolf was a fantastic run blocker but was a very productive pass-catching tight end. By the end of his senior season, Wolf passed Jason Witten for fourth most receiving yards by a tight end in Tennessee football program history.

Passing the great Jason Witten for any reason when it comes to records is saying something. Wolf never was dynamic and was mostly overlooked with all the offensive playmakers the Vols had but don’t underestimate the impact he had on the team.
