Pick Analysis. 6-10. Oakland Raiders. 28. Scouting Report. 3rd AFC West. 5. player

I heard Jon Gruden was only taking the Raiders job for two years and then he was going to come coach the Vols to end his career. Oh how the Grumors will live on forever in Knoxville.

In all seriousness, Jon Gruden will be back on the sideline next year, coaching for the Oakland Raiders. Gruden is known for his time spent in the booth calling Monday Night Football and the quarterback guru.

The Raiders had a decent defense last season when it came to stopping the run. They ranked 12th in the league by only giving up 108.9 rushing yards per game. Oakland only gave up nine runs for 20 yards are more.

What defensive tackles are on the Raiders roster?

Oakland is fairly young when it comes to the defensive tackle position. Their most experienced player is Justin Ellis (Louisiana Tech) and this will be his 5th year in the league. Ellis started 14 games last season and calculated 48 total tackles.

Other players listed as defensive tackle are Treyvon Hester (Toledo), Darius Latham (Indiana), and Eddie Vanderdoes (UCLA).

The Raiders would be a perfect fit for McKenzie. He would immediately come in and be the biggest guy at the defensive tackle position and with his ability to push downhill could open up some playing time.

The Raiders have a guy named Khalil Mack. And, he is a stud. He would take a lot of pressure off that middle position on the defensive line and give players like McKenzie time to shine.
